PBGC Content Management System

INCATech is delivering to Pension Benefits Guarantee Corporation (PBGC) a state of the art Content Management System (CMS) using Adobe Experience Manager to achieve government wide goals in improving the management of time by increasing the efficiency, consistency, and speed in which content is delivered to users. This effort also focuses on improving the users’ ability to effectively search, find, and comprehend relevant content necessary to fulfill their jobs. Content Managers will be able to add and update content quickly and without assistance. Contract scope includes providing all software licenses and services including design development, implementation, training and legacy migration of content into the new system.

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) protects the retirement incomes of over 35 million American workers in private-sector defined benefit pension plans. A defined benefit plan provides a specified monthly benefit at retirement, often based on a combination of salary and years of service. PBGC was created by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 to encourage the continuation and maintenance of private-sector defined benefit pension plans, provide timely and uninterrupted payment of pension benefits, and keep pension insurance premiums at a minimum.
