INCATech is excited to announce that Hannah Coley has been selected as our User Centered Design (UCD) Practice Lead.  User Centered Design places the user experience as a primary focus in all our custom applications, with user-friendly information architecture, while maintaining functional and business requirements, and ensures 508 compliance under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Ms. Coley’s role at INCATech, as the UCD Practice Lead, will not only incorporate UCD into application and systems design, but incorporate Design Thinking as a problem-solving tool within our company, and with interactions with our technical clients’ needs. UCD is a forward-thinking approach to combining active listening, user research and metrics, to find creative solutions to problems and create easy to use, enjoyable applications and interfaces.

Ms. Coley began her career in Material Science Engineering before she transitioned into Product Design, Software Architecture and User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) Design. During her time at Kessel Run, Ms. Coley helped work on the Jigsaw, Tanker Planning Tool and Slapshot: Master Air Attack Planning Tools. She then worked at a Silicon Valley corporate design firm and Defense Entrepreneurs Forum, where she honed her skills and became Senior User Experience Designer and Researcher.

Ms. Coley also serves the military community as an Active Duty Air Force spouse and is passionate about empowering other military spouses in their career goals.
