INCATech is excited to announce that Thomas (Tom) Moran has been promoted as our Geographic Information System Practice Lead.  Mr. Moran joined INCATech in January of this year as a Geospatial Developer and contributes 7+ years of experience in crafting geospatial solutions within the Emergency Management domain, with a very strong technical background built on knowledge of GIS and software development. His work experience has focused on the development of GIS datasets, web and mobile applications, and complex systems and tooling to support mission critical local, state, and federal clients’ programs.
Mr. Moran exhibited exemplary leadership in growing GIS as a business practice and contributed as a program manager for a portfolio of various geospatial technology related projects across multiple federal departments and agencies. Mr. Moran’s technical background includes leading front-end geospatial web application efforts which leverage ArcGIS Enterprise deployed within the AWS cloud and integrates both spatial and non-spatial web services. He has extremely strong product knowledge and development skills with ESRI Mobile GIS products such as Survey123 and excels in developing related products and applications which deliver cross-cutting analytical and reporting capabilities.
As the new GIS Practice Lead for INCATech, Mr. Moran will provide thought leadership, technical expertise within GIS, and implement GIS industry best practices to inform strategic recommendations to the customer and internal INCATech leadership. He will also continue to provide the development of an enterprise-scale data repository of unstructured data into a spatiotemporal search and visualization of data relationships and relevance, and help assemble, coordinate, author, and lead technical engineering efforts for geospatial solutions.
